This product is just plain awful! I regret ever buying Magix Movie Edit Pro Premium. The software barely worked, and even after I got a codec to handle .MOV files, they still wouldn’t show up right. Customer support? Totally useless. I won’t be making the mistake of buying from this company again.

On top of that, I’ve got another program from them, Sound Forge Audio Studio 15, which they took over from Sony after it was shelved. While that one works okay, it never gets any updates.

Thanks, but no thanks. Goodbye, Magix.com.

This program is truly fantastic for novice producers and mixers. The no-cost version offers an excellent foundation, and you can buy extra loop packs for even more choices. It's totally worth the money! I had bought an earlier version before and was really happy with the outcomes I got. Have fun with it!

I've been a user of Sound Forge, ACID, and Vegas for over two decades, back when Sonic Foundry was behind them. Throughout those years, these tools were top-notch in terms of workflow, reliability, and stability. Even after Sony took over, they maintained that high standard. But everything changed when Magix came into the picture.

Since that acquisition, the software has been riddled with bugs and instability. Each new update seems to introduce even more issues. Plus, they've stripped away key features and replaced them with pointless ones. The focus on professional use has vanished, and now it feels like they’re just trying to appeal to everyday consumers. Honestly, the current user interfaces look pretty childish.

To sum it up, these tools are no longer suitable for professionals, and my latest upgrades were my last-ditch effort to make them work. I've already started looking into other options. I really recommend that anyone thinking about buying these programs should consider alternatives. Magix has somehow managed to mess up all three. What used to be excellent software has turned into nothing but buggy, consumer-focused junk.

About a year back, I got myself a subscription for Vegas Pro editing software. I’ve been using it for video editing on different platforms. The software is decent, but it crashes way too often and misses some features that make me reach for other tools for post-processing. The crashes hit hard when I’m dealing with larger files, which can be super annoying and might even cause me to lose my work if I forget to save often.

What really gets me is the customer service when I tried to cancel my subscription. They hit me with a $158 charge for the next year. I shot them an email asking to cancel and get a refund since I wouldn’t be using it for the next 12 months. But they told me a refund wasn’t happening because I didn’t give them a month’s notice. A WHOLE MONTH! I’ve dealt with plenty of subscription services, and I’ve never faced anything like this. It feels like they’re more interested in locking folks into long contracts than actually providing a good product and decent support. It’s just plain disappointing. I can’t recommend this software and will definitely be spreading the word about this negative experience to other creators in the field.

I'm still dealing with persistent problems related to Magix Samplitude Pro X7 Suite. The support crew never gets back to me, which is super annoying. It feels like they care more about pushing out the newest update instead of actually fixing the issues that warrant an update or just trying to rake in more cash without tackling the real problems. This company seriously needs a class action lawsuit. I highly recommend steering clear of them until their support team starts handling requests with real solutions, instead of just telling folks to run the program as an admin. What’s going on, Magix?

They efficiently handled a common issue by offering a solid solution and other choices for folks who couldn't use the suggested fix (updated software). The communication with customers was top-notch and on point. I got in touch for help through email, and they got back to me right away. Plus, the company also provided me with the needed details about the fix around the same time.

I recently got my hands on Sound Forge 15 Studio as part of the latest Humble Bundle deal. The promo video and the software manual made it clear that the Ozone 9 Elements plugin was supposed to be part of the package. But when I started using the software, I found out that this plugin was missing, and there was no info about it anywhere. This is a real issue since it prevents all mastering functions in Sound Forge, which depend heavily on that plugin.

I tried reaching out to Magix support via their website to find out if this was a mistake or if they were just being misleading. Sadly, when I filled out the webform, I got an error message saying, "The support request could not be saved." So, it looks like the form is there, but it’s just not working right.

I was really looking forward to using this for sorting photos and getting rid of duplicates, but it just sorts them by date. There's a facial recognition option, but honestly, it makes things less efficient instead of better.

I'm totally in love with this toolbox that MAGIX has put together. Huge thanks! Acid 10 is a super sensitive, deep, and complex program. When you dive into this advanced software for crafting or producing intricate music, you gotta have a lot of patience. These tools are made for really smart folks who have some coding background. I've tried ProTools, Reason, Propeller Head, Logic, Ableton, and honestly, they all come with complex algorithms that can be tough for artists. But after spending a good chunk of time getting to know Acid, I can say with confidence that it’s a fantastic digital audio workstation (DAW).

This software is really bad! Just a heads up, if you choose to buy it, they’ll flood your screen with irritating pop-up ads for their other stuff. Sadly, you can't get rid of these ads unless you remove their program. It's really disheartening to witness such shady tactics from this company.

The support team is really awful. Once you sign up, good luck trying to get out. I've asked multiple times to end my subscription, yet they've kept taking money from my account for five months straight. You gotta be careful when working with them. I really recommend steering clear of their services.

I've been a fan of Sony-Magix video editing tools for almost three decades, and I've always appreciated their work. But this latest version of the Pro-Am video software (2023) seems like a rehash of their older, less impressive amateur products. To top it off, they're now making us buy the pricier Pro version, which comes with a monthly fee. I never wanted this new software, didn’t place an order for it, and yet I found a charge on my account. When I tried to voice my concerns, their reply was in German. Even after I translated it, they still didn’t tackle my problem of being wrongly charged. It’s really disheartening to watch this once-respected company turn into a greedy, money-driven operation.
